Battersea and Wandsworth Trades Council, together with CWU activists from the Nine Elms mail centre in Vauxhall in south west London, will be sponsoring a public meeting about the current wave of public sector struggles at Lambeth Town Hall on the evening of Thursday 11 October. Speakers will include activists from the CWU, Unison and the POA.
The idea is to give activists a chance to compare experiences, discuss ideas and link up their struggles.
Further details will be agreed at the next meeting of the SW London Postal Workers Support Group, which takes place at 6pm on 19 September at the Bread & Roses, 68 Clapham Manor Street, London SW4 6DZ (Clapham Common/North tubes or Clapham High Street rail).
